On August 28th, Kansas City's most powerful artists and leaders came together and raised $3,000 to aid local organization, The Greenline Initiative, in their mission: helping historically marginalized and low income populations realize their dreams of home ownership while building permanent community and generational wealth in formerly redlined neighborhoods.
In the midst a worldwide pandemic and an uprising in support of the Movement For Black Lives, safe & affordable housing is more crucial than ever. With your help, we will work to raise another $37,000 by November 1st to ensure Greenline has what they need to continue building generational wealth, political influence, and community stability in our urban core.
Over the next month and a half, we will release a TON of special content and events to go along with this fundraising campaign. From a 15-minute live set from Khrystal., out September 17th, to a special Greenline Grows KC highlights reel airing on Kansas City PBS October 9th, we hope you'll be inspired to invest in the lives of our neighbors and community members.
